Sophia Bailey helped businesses explore turning contacts into clients through Make It Global
The Women’s Business Centre Make it Global team hosted a great workshop on Monday 25th March showing 20 women-led SMEs how to turn contacts into customers and clients.
The workshop was facilitated by the fantastic business coach Janice Beckles and joined by guest speaker and social media guru Sophia Bailey. Sophia talked to the group about utilising apps and tools such as Linkedin, Twitter, Webinars and Brainshark to build relationships and grow that all-important customer base – both in the UK and abroad.
There was great feedback from the session, with clients citing how in the current economic climate, support such as Make it Global provides the necessary help and advice to help grow their businesses. Virtually all the feedback forms showed clients had increased their social media knowledge and skills. The best tip of the day? Start looking at all the business cards you have been collecting but not making use of! Connect to these contacts and turn them into customers!
