About SOPHIA
Sophia was born in London, in 1974 to Jamaican parents and grew up in the UK. Her mother was an amazing networker who became very successful in her field and from the age of five she would go door to door with her Mother grew from a sales rep, to sales manager, area manager and district manager winning awards all over Europe for her achievements. Sophia was a natural networker, delivering her own presentations from the age of six and also helping out her Dad on his market stall on the weekends.
At school, Sophia was a bright child and formed friendships in different groups of people though never quite belonging to any crowd. She began to make friends outside school in her early teens and had her first daughter, nine months after leaving school, just a few months after turning 17 years old. There begins many of the stories and powerful lessons which you will learn when you hear Sophia speak.
As a young Mother, moving from home to home, living in poverty, through abusive relationships, she taught herself the profession of accountancy, working up to a high position amd felt like she had finally overcome the hardship of moving from adversity to prosperity. But her late twenties she had bought her first home, car and settled down.
After redundancy, serious debt, near repossesion and separation, the next stage of her journey caused her to look another serious look at the lessons in her life and a chance encounter, lead her towards a spiritual path, enabling her to find inspiration in her own life.
Sophia's inspirational story unleashes a sense of recognition, understanding of the past and awareness whenever she speaks to an audience, many of whom face similar challanges.
Sophia is passionate about speaking, and after the 'coincidence' of her notes going missing every time she got up to talk in front of an audience, she figured that the messages she had to share without planning, sometimes ended up being better than what she had on paper! Once she made the decision to speak intuitively, sharing the deep and emotional lessons from her life, she found her purpose.
The name Sophia Bailey, when translated means sophos baiulus, literally meaning 'wisdom messenger'. Sophia feels that wisdom is the result of experience, yours and others, and knows that everything she has been through was in order to overcome, find the lesson and to share it with others.
Sophia speaks from the heart, she feels the emotion of the audience and every message comes to you with passion and unconditional love. Her message shows that no matter what you are going through, or what you have been through, things can be better for you.
Sophia is now the mother of two daughters and based in London, UK. She writes a weekly inspirational column for the Voice newspaper, as well as offering holistic intuitive coaching. She also contributes to a number of networking groups including the Positive People with Skills Network, a community network which she founded in 2006.
Change is the only constant in our lives so let us do the things we were born to do. Sophia's favourite quote is 'more is within you'

Blessed Souls UK
I performed at an open mic session, sharing a poem about my story. It brought the year to a powerful start and has generated so much feedback that i am sure to share it again soon.
